It has been revealed there really IS a difference between Diet Coke and Coke Zero Sugar.
Sure, one comes in a nice silver can, the other in a cool looking black one.
But the difference goes beyond that, folks.
You see, in a statement on their website , the brand explains the difference between the two much-loved cans.
It reads: “Both drinks are sugar free and calorie free.
“Coca-Cola Zero Sugar looks and tastes more like Coca-Cola Classic, while Diet Coke has a different blend of flavours which gives it a lighter taste.”
So, the drinks actually do taste different, with Zero Sugar meant to taste like ‘Full Fat Coke’.
Diet Coke, meanwhile, boasts a taste of its own.
Zero Sugar features sodium citrate in its ingredients list, and Diet Coke has citric acid.
Coca-Cola Zero Sugar features water, colour , phosphoric acid, sweeteners , natural flavourings including caffeine, and acidity regulator .
